Hi, It would seem only the Titan range has built in UPS functionality. What do owners of the Mercury do, to execute a Powerchute controlled shutdown in an automated way? Send ssh shutdown command via the SMU? Thanks, Mike To unsubscribe from the list send a blank e-mail to mailto:studiosysadmins-discuss-request@studiosysadmins.com?subject=unsubscribe |

Our usual plan is a VPN in/SSH in and manually shutdown if we have to. But we over engineered the UPS for that sucker by about 400% so we have a good hour of uptime on average. Nice to have some breathing room. J^2 On Jun 29, 2012, at 12:52 AM, mjnowen@gmail.com wrote: > Hi, > It would seem only the Titan range has built in UPS functionality. I'd love to hear if anyone has got this working correctly. Last I recall, our guys had successfully scripted shutting down the SMU and Mercury heads but not the disk arrays. Paul
