deadline errors
Don't know deadline that well but can anyone shed some light on this error.

Nuke is installed on the render nodes and all nodes can see the repos, licenses are ok.

Not sure what to do next.

Re: deadline errors
Hi Pete,

That error means that Deadline nodes can't find your nuke executable. This is set at the repository level using the plugin configuration.

You can fix it easily from the deadline monitor. Make sure you're in super user mode (select it from the tools menu) then go to Tools -> Plugin Configuration

If you highlight the nuke plugin on the left hand side you should be able to add the paths to your nuke executables. Note that if your render nodes are running OSX the plugin executable is actually inside the .app bundle, have a look at the existing OSX app paths for an example.

If I was a guessing man (and I am), I would guess it may have something to do with white space in the path.  Of all the Nuke paths listed, the Windows based path is the only one with white space.

Hi,?

What version of Nuke are running? ?Nuke6.3v7 is not added (by default) to the plugins?executables?list in Deadline. ?I had to add the path in manually:

C:\Program Files\Nuke6.3v7\Nuke6.3.exe ?(for Windows).?

Re: deadline errors
As a test, grab the command from the Deadline slave/job logs and attempt to manually execute it on the node. Nuke should start up and render whichever frame is specified in the command switches.

If not, then you have isolated the issue to be underneath deadline, so to speak...so you can address Nuke on the nodes.

Post the entire log? Check versions?

P Save a tree-we only print the emails we really need to

As a test, grab the command from the Deadline slave/job logs and attempt to manually execute it on the node. Nuke should start up and render whichever frame is specified in the command switches.

If not, then you have isolated the issue to be underneath deadline, so to speak...so you can address Nuke on the nodes.

Post the entire log? Check versions?

Don't know deadline that well but can anyone shed some light on this error.

Nuke is installed on the render nodes and all nodes can see the repos, licenses are ok.

Not sure what to do next.
