64bit Maya 2010 and RHEL 5 version

Specs say: Red Hat? Enterprise Linux? 5.3

We use NFS to serve our applications, has worked fine for us so far..... my software server is running Centos 5.0.

My question is, has anyone installed 64bit Maya 2010 on Centos 5.0 instead of 5.3? Or is it best that I get a server with 5.3 running to serve newer apps like 64bit Maya 2010?

Thanks,
Fatima

I'd think the biggest hurdle would be glibc - check they run the same version, probably they do.
