Hi James, 2010 introduced the ever important 'product information table' or PIT. This is used for both standalone and network licensing. If you have a .pit file set for network, it won't work for standalone. I bet your PIT is not correct for stand alone. It's binary, so I have had to delete it, and re-create it. From page 25 of maya2010installationlicensingguide.pdf, it says: Run the following commands to register Maya with the Autodesk licensing software, where is your product key, and is your serial number: ? (Stand-alone licensing) /usr/autodesk/maya2010-x64/bin/adlmreg -i S 2010.0.0.F /var/opt/Autodesk/Adlm/Maya2010/MayaConfig.pit This will create a .pit file here: /var/opt/Autodesk/Adlm/.config/ProductInformation.pit Once that is set, you might need to set ADLM_LICENSE_FILE_LOCATION to point to the directory where your license lives. Hope this helps. -Jeff On Tue, Mar 9, 2010 at 3:07 PM, Gordon Breckenridge gord@anthemfx.com wrote: > Ours is installed in /var/flexlm (os x) > We are using a network license though, so all it does is point to our license server which has the real file, also in /var/flexlm though > > I haven't had to download a file through Maya, they sent use the license file via email, based on the servers hardware address. > > On 2010-03-09, at 2:54 PM, James W.
