Job Title: Junior Systems Administrator

Role: The role of Junior Systems Administrator covers operations and support in all aspects of digital post production.  You would report to both the Head of Technology and Senior Systems Administrator. Below are some of the main duties we would like this person to take on, we don’t expect you to know how to do everything but you need to be prepared to learn as you go and show genuine enthusiasm for the work.

* Act as first line support for any technical issues.
* Take responsibility for keeping technical areas clean and tidy.
* Document processes and disseminate this information within the company.
* Take responsibility for data management tasks, logging and ingesting media, monitoring digital deliveries.
* Assist with the following: render management, colour management, software installation/support and email support.
* Along with all of the One Of Us team we expect staff to help out with a broad range of tasks wherever appropriate and possible.

Knowledge & Experience: The following are essential requirements for this role.

* A good knowledge of Mac OS X and of linux.
* Some understanding of visual effects and the digital post production process.
* An awareness of digital media formats.
* Excellent organisational skills and genuine attention to detail.
* The ability to accurately disseminate information via written and spoken communication.
* The desire to learn new skills through research and experimentation.
* A drive to work as part of an ambitious team.

In addition, any of the following would be an advantage

* Experience of scripting and/or computer programming of any kind.
* An interest in any of the following: 2D compositing, CGI, colour science.
* Knowledge of digital and film cameras.
* On-set experience.
