Systems Administrator (Macintosh/Windows/Unix)

Award winning post production facility located in Santa Monica is looking for a Systems Administrator. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a 2D/3D & Editorial environment and have experience with the following:
Maya, Adobe CS packages, Nuke, Cinema 4D, Boujou, FCP, Filemaker Pro, Autodesk Advanced Systems
Microsoft Office Suite
OS X, Windows (Server, XP & 7), Linux and Solaris
Render farm management
Scripting(Python & Shell)
Open Directory & Active Directory
Archive Systems
Networking (TCP/IP) and file sharing protocols (NFS/SAN)
Broadcast knowledge a plus

Responsibilities include:
Recommend, setup and maintain all computer systems
Provide technical assistance to both production and artistic staff
Local and Wide area network design and implementation
Backup & Archive of project and enterprise data
Maintain technical documentation library
Support of Final Cut Pro and Autodesk Flame/Smoke systems
Assist in maintaining PBX system
Administration of compression systems
Participate in rotating on-call schedule

This position reports directly to the Chief Engineer.
