SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR

Rising Sun Pictures, one of Australia's leading VFX specialists, is currently seeking an enthusiastic and talented Support Administrator for our Adelaide office.

In this role you will be troubleshooting complex issues to ensure an efficient and stable work environment for end users.  The operating system environment is mostly Linux and OSX but includes some windows workstations.  

Skills and Experience:

−    2-3 years working with linux operating systems supporting end users.
−    Installation of software in linux.
−    Experience working with a ticket tracking system for work allocation.
−    Experience with setup and maintenance of web applications servers.
−    Some Sys Admin skills relating to (SVN,Authentication, networks, DNS, DHCP, NFS etc...)
−    Redhat RHCT, RHCE Certification highly regarded.


Responsibilities:

−    Complete & update technical support tickets
−    Systems and Work Environment configuration for end users.
−    Ensure end user work environment is configured and operating as expected.
−    Contribute to documentation for end users.

We are looking for candidates available to start as soon as possible.  This will be for an initial 6 month contract, with the potential to extend.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
